News 2003 - 2005

December 10th & 11th: East Coast Ladies: On the Saturday, Timone took the DCC and BOB and was shortlisted with 2 others in the Group. Magic got the DRCC and RBOB. Grace got the BCC. On the Sunday it was Zippo's turn for the DCC & BOB along with another JUNIOR OF GROUP,, with Grace taking the BCC & RBOB.
Bronwyn had great success at that show, handling Pam Douglas' Beardie to a Best in Group and a Reserve Best in Show.

December 3rd & 4th: South Taranaki and New Plymouth Shows: Grace once again took the BCC and BOB on the Saturday, with Timone taking the DCC and RBOB. On the Sunday, Zippo took the DCC, RBOB along with JUNIOR OF GROUP, and Grace took the BCC and BOB.

November 12th & 13th: Poverty Bay: Grace took the CC & BOB each day as Bronwyn travelled down with friends on her own.

November 5th & 6th: Taupo: Grace once again did a star performance and got the bitch CC at both shows along with BOB. The dog CC's was split between Timone and Magic, with Zippo taking both the RCC's on offer. None went any further in Group although Grace was shortlisted both days.

October 29th & 30th: Franklin & Kumeu shows: Another good weekend for us showing wise. Bronwyn handled a litter sister of Kovu to 2 Puppy of Groups, Grace managed to get all 3 bitch CCc's along with BOB at 2 of them, and a RESERVE IN SHOW at the Working Dog Show. Zippo managed 2 of the 3 CC's on offer.

October 22nd, 23rd & 24th: Manawatu, Ladies KA: Bronwyn went to Manawatu shows by herself and got the 3 dog CC's with Timone, along with BOB but did not go any further in the group. Allan and I stayed in Auckland and took the other Aussies to the shows. Zippo did nicely with a Dog CC and JUNIOR OF GROUP, Grace got one of the Bitch CC's and BOB and Timone returned and got the final Dog CC with BOB.

October 15th & 16th: Tauranga: Timone took the Dog CC with Zippo & Magic taking the Dog RCC's and Grace taking the BCC at both Shows. Timone got BOB at both shows and Grace got RBOB at the Sunday show and Magic the other RBOB. Iceman got Baby Puppy of Breed in the Collies at both shows.

September 22nd, 23rd &24th : Curtain Raiser Show: Dog CC went to Magic along with RBOB, Bitch CC went to Grace along with BOB. At the National Show, Grace took Bitch CC, Tiki RCC, with Zippo taking Dog RCC. Grace also got BOB. With those wins, both Grace and Zippo have Qualified for Crufts 2006. At the Working Dog Club, Zippo took the Dog CC and RBOB with Grace taking the BRCC.

September 10th & 11th : Huntly Shows and Collie Club Show. Once again Kovu was the star of the weekend ending up withBABY PUPPY OF SHOW at the Collie Club Show, and BABY PUPPY OF GROUP along with DCC at Huntly.

September 3rd : Rotorua Kennel Club: Zippo took DCC & BOB with Sidney taking BCC & RBOB. Kovu managed Baby Puppy of Breed and Iceman got Baby Puppy of Breed and BABY PUPPY OF GROUP. On the Sunday Magic took the Dog CC with Sidney getting BCC, each of them taking a BOB. No further in Group for any of our dogs.

August 20th & 21st: Wellington Working Dog Club: Kovu took DRCC & RBOB and BABY PUPPY OF SHOW! At the second show he again took BABY PUPPY OF SHOW! Zippo got the DCC with Grace taking the BCC & BOB. At the second show Magic took DCC & BOB along with NEW ZEALAND BRED OF SHOW .

At the Wellington Ladies KA All Breeds Kovu took BABY PUPPY OF GROUP at the second show. At the First show Zippo once again got DCC with Grace taking the BCC & BOB along with OPEN OF GROUP .

July 24th: Timone took the Dog CC along with the BOB and Sidney took the Bitch CC. Kovu (Bronwyn's Bearded Collie) at his first show took the BABY PUPPY OF GROUP. What a way to start!

July 3rd & 4th: Zippo took the Dog CC both days along with a BOB and a RBOB.

June 12th: Zippo's final CC along with BOB. He can now be know as Am & NZ Champion Thornapple Hot Temptation!! Nala took both CC's along with BOB and Jared took both of the Dog CC's. Nala and Jared are now retired from the ring although may well make the occasional appearance at specialist shows.

June 4th & 5th: Zippo once again managed to get both the dog CC's with Vogue taking both the bitch CC's along with one BOB with Zippo taking the other one.

May 28th & 29th. Zippo managed to take the dog CC at both of these shows, and Sidney took both the Bitch CC's along with one BOB with Zippo getting the other.

May 7th & 8th: Kawerau Shows: Zippo took Dog CC and BOB. Vogue got the Bitch CC & RBOB. Zippo also got JUNIOR OF GROUP, on the Saturday, 1st show!

May2nd: Zippo is out of quarantine and home with us.

April 23rd & 24th: New Plymouth: Timone Took Dog CC & BOB with Sidney getting the Bitch CC & RBOB. Jared got the Dog CC & RBOB. At the Taranaki Show, Vogue got the Bitch CC & BOB, Sidney the Bitch RCC & RBOB, with Timone getting the Dog CC. Nala got the Collie Bitch CC & BOB, with Jared getting the Dog CC & RBOB. Timone also took OPEN OF GROUP .

Easter Weekend 2005: On the Friday, Magic took the Dog CC & BOB, with Grace getting the Bitch CC & RBOB. Nala took the Bitch CC in the Roughs, along with RBOB. On The Saturday, Nala again got the Bitch CC & RBOB.

19th & 20th March 2005: Wanganui Kennel Society: Saturday Timone got the Dog CC & BOB with Sidney taking the Bitch CC. On the Sunday, it was the turn of Magic to get the Dog CC & Grace got the Bitch CC. Jared to the Dog CC in the Roughs both days.

26th & 27th February 2005: North Shore Kennel Assn: We had a quiet weekend on the whole, however Magic took Dog CC & BOB along with NZ BRED OF GROUP .

5th & 6th of March 2005: We had stunning weather all weekend, nice and warm. Grace took all 3 CC's , 2 with BOB on offer over the weekend along with an INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP. . Simba took all 3 of the Dog CC's one with BOB. This gives Simba his final CC so that he can be awarded the title of Champion..

19th & 20th February 2005: Tokoroa Canine Association: On the Saturday, Grace won Bitch CC with Magic taking the dog RCC & RBOB. On the Sunday, Simba got the CC with Grace taking the Bitch CC & INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP. At the Waikato Working Dog Show, Simba once again got the dog CC with Grace taking the Bitch CC, BOB & INTERMEDIATE OF SHOW.

12th & 13th February: Simba got both of the Male CC's on offer, with Grace taking both of the Bitch CC's and BOB.

5th & 6th February: Hibiscus Coast Kennel Association: Sidney was awarded PUPPY OF GROUP, on the Sunday.

29th January & 30th January:: What a weekend this was at Whangarei! Saturday, Simba won his first CC along with RESERVE OF GROUP & JUNIOR OF GROUP, Grace won Bitch CC, Sidney won PUPPY OF GROUP, ,Timone won INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP.

Then on the Sunday, Magic won Doc CC, BOB & BEST OF GROUP & NZ OF GROUP and then went on to culminate it all with a magnificent BEST IN SHOW all breeds, a 1st for Australian Shepherds in New Zealand. .

23rd of January: Timone again took Dog CC & BOB along with RESERVE OF GROUP

22nd of January: Our first show for this year and what a way to start: Timone took Dog CC & BOB and BEST OF GROUP & INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP,: Grace got Bitch CC & RBOB. Sidney won PUPPY OF GROUP.

2004:

5th December 2004: Our last show for this year: New Plymouth Kennel Club : Timone took Dog CC & BOB and INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP: Sidney got RBOB & Bitch CC.

4th December 2004: South Taranaki Kennel Club: Magic took DCC & BOB with Sidney getting the Bitch CC. Timone took Dog RCC & INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP.

28th November 2004: Auckland Kennel Council: Tiki won Bitch CC but that was all.

14th November 2004 : Poverty Bay Ch Show: : These shows were held at Gisbourne, we had super weather for the show and great company. Another great weekend for us. Our Baby Puppy Sidney, got BABY PUPPY OF GROUP. Timone got Dog CC & BOB and also won BEST OF GROUP & INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP. , and Tiki took BCC. Jared took Dog CC & BOB and Nala took Bitch CC & RBOB and also won OPEN OF GROUP.

13th November 2004 : Poverty Bay Ch Show: : Magic got Dog CC &BOB along with NEW ZEALAND BRED OF GROUP, and Tiki took BCC & RBOB .

31st October 2004 : Kumeu Ch Show: : Our Baby Puppy Sidney, got BABY PUPPY OF GROUP. Magic got Dog CC &RBOB, and Grace took BCC & BOB along with INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP. Jared took Dog CC & BOB and Nala took Bitch CC & RBOB.

30th October 2004 : Franklin KA Ch Show: : Our Baby Puppy Sidney, got BABY PUPPY OF GROUP. Jared took Dog CC & BOB and Nala took Bitch CC & RBOB.

24th October 2004 : Manawatu Ch Show: : Timone took Dog CC and BOB, Grace took Bitch CC & RBOB. Our Baby Puppy Sidney, got BABY PUPPY OF GROUP. Jared took Dog CC & BOB and Nala took Bitch CC & RBOB.

23rd October 2004 : Manawatu Ch Show: : Timone took Dog CC and RBOB, Grace took Bitch CC & BOB. Our Baby Puppy Sidney, got BABY PUPPY OF GROUP. Dominion Working Group Ch Show: Timone took Dog CC & BOB, Magic took RBOB.

17th October 2004 : Tauranga Ch Show: : Timone took Dog CC and RBOB, Grace took Bitch CC & BOB. She also got INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP : Waikato Working Group Ch Show: Timone took Dog CC & BOB, Magic took RBOB and Grace took Bitch CC.

16th October 2004 : Tauranga Ch Show: : Magic took Dog CC and BOB, Grace took Bitch CC & RBOB. Sidney took Baby Puppy of Breed and BABY PUPPY OF GROUP

23rd September : Nationals: Thursday: Jarad took Dog CC & BOB. Grace got Intermediate of Breed but on returning on the Satuday for the Group judging, neither went any further in the Group.

22nd September : Prelude Show ot Nationals: Wednesday: Grace took Bitch CC & RBOB. She also got INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP

21st & 22nd August: Wellington Working Dog: Saturday & Sunday Jared to the Dog CC Saturday Grace took Bitch CC and Timone took Dog CC & BOB. Sunday Grace got BCC and Magic took DCC & BOB. Tiki took JUNIOR OF SHOW
At the Wellington Ladies, Saturday Timone got DCC with Grace taking BCC & BOB and INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP, and on the Sunday Magic took DCC & BOB with Grace taking BCC.

3rd & 4th of July 2004: Hauraki Champ Show: Saturday Jared took the Dog CC. Sunday Magic took the Dog CC and BOB & INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP; and Tiki took the BCC. At the Working and Herding Show Timone took the Dog CC so it was one of those weekends when everything was shared.

12th & 13th June: NZKC Auckland Benefit Championship Show: Saturday Jared took Dog CC & Best of Breed with Nala taking the Bitch CC & Reserve Best of Breed. In the Aussies Grace took Bitch CC & Best of Breed with Magic taking the Dog CC and Reserve Best of Breed. Grace then went on to take out INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP
Sunday: Timone took Dog CC and Grace took Bitch CC & Best of Breed. She once again went on to take out INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP.

1st & 2nd May: Eastern Bay of Plenty Kennel Assn: What a weekend of success:
Saturday: Grace took BCC, BOB & BEST OF GROUP and INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP, and then crowned it all with INTERMEDIATE OF SHOW, Magic got DCC, & RBOB
Sunday: Grace shone and took BCC, BOB & RESERVE BEST OF GROUP, and INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP and then again crowned it all with INTERMEDIATE OF SHOW, Timone Got DCC & RBOB, Nala took BCC, BOB & OPEN OF GROUP.

24th & 25th April: South Taranaki Kennel Centre: Timone did really well and got DCC, BOB & BEST OF GROUP and INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP, Gracie BCC, Jared DCC & RBOB. New Plymouth Kennel Centre: Timone DCC BOB, Tiki BCC.

Easter Weekend: Kumeu - Grace took BCC & RBOB and Nala took BCC & RBOB. Auckland Kennel Council - Grace again took BCC & RBOB and this time Jared took DCC & RBOB. Franklin - Grace once again took BCC & RBOB, Timone the DRCC and Magic got INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP

3rd & 4th April - Cambridge Kennel Association - Tiki won her last CC to now make her a Champion and won Best of Breed along with that.

15th & 16th March 2004 - Wanganui Kennel Society - Timone won big again -JUNIOR OF GROUP and JUNIOR IN SHOW All Breeds. Another great win was Simba out newest addition taking a BABY PUPPY OF GROUP as well. What a great thrill that was after the long drive down. Thorne gathered his 1st CC and Magic got his last CC to gain his championship. A really great weekend and a lot to live up to for the rest of the year.

January & February - Our first shows of the year started out quietly with a few CC's and BOB along the way for both our Aussies and Collies.

2003

8th & 9th November 2003 - Taupo Kennel Association - Timone took DCC & BOB both shows, Gracie to BCC & RBOB on Sunday, Tiki took BCC & RBOB on Saturday. Jared took DCC & BOB on Saturday, with Nala Taking RBCC both days.

27th October 2003 - Ladies Kennel Association - Timone took DCC & BOB, Gracie took BCC.

26th October 2003 - Manawatu Kennel Association - Timone took DCC, Gracie BCC & BOB.

25th October 2003 - Manawatu Kennel Assocation - Timone Took DCC, BOB & JUNIOR IN GROUP. Tiki took BCC (her first) Thorne took BABY PUPPY OF GROUP

18th & 19th October 2003 - Tauranga Kennel Associaion - Timone took DCC & BOB, Gracie took BCC, Nala took BCC & Jared took DCC on both Saturday and Sunday. Jared also went INTERMEDIATE IN GROUP on the Saturday. This was a really successful weekend for our dogs.

18th October 2003 - Waikato Collie Club - Open Show - Nala went BEST IN SHOW and Thorne went BEST BABY PUPPY IN SHOW.

14th September 2003 - Waikato Working Dog Association - Timone took DRCC, RBOB & JUNIOR OF SHOW

6th September 2003 - Rotorua Show - Timone took DCC & BOB along with JUNIOR OF GROUP.
