News 2009

December 5th & 6th - East Coast Ladies KA - A quiet weekend away with some nice results. We took out babies with us for the outing - they all behaved very well. We look forward to them starting on their show careers next year. In the Aussies, on Saturday, Zippo got the DCC and BOB while Fuse got the BCC and RBOB. Fuse went on to JUNIOR OF GROUP and then went on to JUNIOR IN SHOW ALL BREEDS. In the Beardies, it was Austen that got the DCC and BOB. On the Sunday, once again it was Zippo who got the DCC and BOB with Fuse again taking out the BCC & RBOB. Fuse again got JUNIOR OF GROUP . In the Beardies Austen got the DRCC and RBOB this time.

November 28th & 29th - South Taranaki KA - Results were the same for both shows with Zippo taking out the DRCC and RBOB while Fuse got the BCC at both shows. Austen got the DCC and BOB at both shows as well. Fuse did go JUNIOR OF GROUP , at the Sunday show.

November 21st & 22nd - Franklin KA - Another good show for us with Zippo and Nandi taking the Reserve Challenges but with Fuse getting the BCC and RBOB at the Saturday show, and Austen getting DRCC and RBOB and going on to PUPPY OF GROUP . Fuse went on to JUNIOR OF GROUP on the Saturday. Austen went on to PUPPY IN SHOW ALL BREEDS!! , On the Sunday, Austen entered the Puppy stakes and got 1ST PLACE PUPPY STAKES. On the Sunday it was Vegas who got the DRCC along with Nandi taking out the RBCC again. Fuse once again got the BCC and RBOB. In the Beardies, Austen got the DCC and RBOB.

November 14th & 15th - Wairarapa KA - At all 3 shows there was the same result. Fuse was the only one who went from our kennel and she got the BCC and BOB at all 3 shows going JUNIOR OF GROUP and JUNIOR IN SHOW ALL BREEDS! at the show on Saturday morning, she went RESERVE OF GROUP , JUNIOR OF GROUP on the Saturday afternoon and then on the Sunday she once again for the RESERVE IN GROUP on the Sunday show.

Octboer 30th & November 1st - Taupo Kennel Assn - at both shows Vegas got the DRCC and RBOB while Fuse got the BCC at both shows.

October 25th & 26th - Auckland Working Dog Assn - In the morning we had a good show with Vegas getting the RDCC and RBOB while Nandi got the BCC. In the Beardies Austen got the DCC and BOB and went on to PUPPY IN SHOW . In the afternnon we had the Ladies Kennel Association show where we only got the two RCC's in the breed however Austen once again got the DCC and BOB and went on to PUPPY IN GROUP and then went on to PUPPY IN SHOW ALL BREEDS!!! On the Monday we had the 2nd Ladies show where it was Vegas's turn to shine with the DCC and BOB and he went on to RESERVE IN GROUP and OPEN OF GROUP . He was also 4th in the Imported Stakes with a large entry. Austen once again got the DCC and BOB and went on to PUPPY IN GROUP .

October 10th & 11th - Tauranga - On the Saturday, Fuse got the BCC and BOB while Vegas got the DCC and RBOB. On the Sunday it was Vegas who got the DCC and BOB while Fuse got the BCC and RBOB. At the Working Dog show the results were the same with Vegas getting BOB and going on to OPEN IN SHOW .

October 2nd, 3rd & 4th - Nationals 2009 - DRCC went to Timone while in the bitches it was Patsy (owned by Coralee & litter sister to Walka) who got the BCC & BOB, going on to RESERVE IN GROUP, with Fuse taking out the BRCC and RBOB. In the Beardies it was Austen who got the DRCC and RBOB. In the NZ Bred stakes Kovu got 6th place while in the Puppy Stakes Austen also got 6th place from approximately 50 entries each or more.

October 1st - Prelude Show: In the Aussies, DCC went to Denver while DRCC went to Zippo. In the bitches it was Kiara who got the BCC and BOB while Nandi took out the BRCC and RBOB. In the Beardies, it was Kovu who got the DCC and BOB while Austen got the DRCC and RBOB. Later that evening there was the Collie club show where it was Kovu who got the DCC and BOB and went on to RESERVE BEST IN SHOW while Austen got the DRCC and went on to PUPPY IN SHOW . What a great day.

September 26th - Manawatu KA Saturday: DCC & RBOB - Walka with Zippo taking out the DRCC. Nandi got the BCC & BOB with Fuse taking out the BRCC. Austen managed the DRCC and RBOB in the Beardies. Nandi went on to RESERVE OF GROUP on the Saturday. On Sunday, Nandi again got the BCC & BOB and this time went on to BEST OF GROUP & OPEN OF GROUP . Fuse got the BRCC and RBOB while it was Denver's turn to take the DCC with Zippo once again the bride's maid with the DRCC. In the Beardies it was Austen's turn to shine with him taking the DCC and BOB with Kovu getting the DRCC and RBOB. Austen also got PUPPY OF GROUP .

September 12th & 13th - Huntly - A very quiet weekend with Austen taking out a PUPPY OF GROUP and Fuse getting a BRCC and Denver taking a DRCC and RBOB.

August 29th & 30th - Rotorua Kennel Club: On the Saturday Fuse got the BCC & BOB and went on to JUNIOR OF GROUP ably handled by Bridgette. Her baby got BABY PUPPY OF GROUP and Austen came away with DCC & BOB in the Beardies.

August 22nd & 23rd - Wellington Ladies and Wellington Working Dog Show: Did not have a good weekend and came away with one BCC and one RBCC for Nandi, one RCC and RBOB for Zippo and one RDCC for Walka. In the Beardies we did a little better with Austen getting 3 RDCC, 2 with RBOB however he did manage to get PUPPY IN SHOW Saturday and Sunday. .

August 8th & 9th - Wellington Management Board: What a great weekend for the kennel -

Saturday AM show - In the Aussies DCC and RBOB went to Walka while the BCC & BOB went to Fuse. RBCC went to Kiara. Fuse went on to RESERVE OF GROUP & JUNIOR OF GROUP . In the Beardies it was Austen who got the DCC and RBOB while Hannah got the BCC and BOB. Hannah went on to BEST OF GROUP & NZ BRED OF GROUP .

Saturday PM Show - In the Aussies it was Denver who got the DCC & BOB while Walka got the DRCC and RBOB. Fuse once again got the BCC and Kiara the BRCC. Walka went on to JUNIOR OF GROUP . In the Beardies, Austen once again got the DCC and RBOB whil it was Hannah that got the BCC & BOB. Hannah went on to NZ BRED OF GROUP while Austen got PUPPY OF GROUP .

Sunday AM Show: - In the Aussies it was Zippo who got the DCC & BOB while Walka once again got the DRCC and RBOB. Fuse and Kiara had the same placings as the day before. In the Beardies Austen got the DRCC and went on to PUPPY OF GROUP while Hannah got the BCC & BOB and went on to NZ BRED OF GROUP once again. Bridgette Dixon showing her new puppy also got BABY PUPPY OF GROUP ! Yahoo.

Sunday PM Show - IN the Aussies it was once again Denver's CC and BOB while Zippo got the DRCC and RBOB. The bitches were once again the same. Denver went on to RESERVE OF GROUP . In the Beardies Austen once again got the DRCC and PUPPY OF GROUP , while Hannah got the BCC and this time RBOB.

July 25th - Pencarrow - 2 shows in one day with the Breed results of the Aussies the same both shows. DCC & BOB to Zippo and DRCC & RBOB to Walka. At the afternnon show Walka went on to JUNIOR OF GROUP and then JUNIOR OF SHOW ! In the Beardies, little Austen was the only Beardie to go and he got the DCC and RBOB in the morning show and went on to PUPPY OF GROUP . In the afternoon show he got the DRCC.

June 27th - Hauraki KA & Auckland Working Dog - At the AM show, Walka got the DCC with RBOB while Zippo got the DRCC. Bella got the BRCC while her sister Patsy took out the BCC and BOB. Patsy went on to RESERVE IN GROUP. What a day for Zippo's children. At the afternoon show, Zippo once again got the DRCC while it was Patsy who got the BCC and RBOB. At the Working dog show, it was Zippo's turn to shine with him taking out the DCC and BOB while his daughter got the BRCC.

May 23 & 24th - Upper Hutt - Saturday little Austen got RD and RBOB while in the Aussies Zippo got RDCC and RBOB while Bella got her last CC to make her up a Champion and then went on to JUNIOR OF GROUP . On the Sunday, little Austen got BABY PUPPY OF GROUP . In the Aussies Bella shone and got the BCC and BOB and went on to RESERVE BEST OF GROUP & JUNIOR OF GROUP . Her Dad, Zippo, got the DCC and RBOB and then went on to OPEN OF GROUP . A Great day for the Aussies.

May 16th & 17th - Marlborough. - Morning show - DRCC & RBOB Vegas while Kiara got the BCC. At the Afternoon Show Dart got the DCC and BOB while Kiara got the BCC & RBOB. Vegas got the DRCC. Dart went on to INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP. On the Sunday Kiara got the BCC and BOB while Vegas got the DCC. Kiara went on to NZ BRED OF GROUP.

May 16th - Huntly Benefit Show - DRCC and RBOB went to Denver.

May 9th & 10th - Hawkes Bay - Bridgette took Vegas and Kiara up for the weekend and got the CC's with BOB to Kiara on the Saturday and BOB to Vegas on the Sunday as well as INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP .

April 25th & 26th - New Plymouth - Saturday saw DCC & BOB going to Kovu and Austen taking out BABY PUPPY OF GROUP . In the Aussies, Fuse got BCC & BOB while Zippo got the DCC & RBOB. Fuse went on to BEST OF GROUP & JUNIOR OF GROUP . She went on to JUNIOR IN SHOW . On the Sunday, Zippo got the DCC & BOB with Fuse getting the BCC & RBOB. In the Beardies, Kovu got the DCC & BOB once again, but this time it was Kovu who went BEST OF GROUP & OPEN OF GROUP . A super weekend for the kennel.

April 18th - Kumeu KA - At the morning show Zippo got the DRCC while Fuse took out the BCC and RBOB. Fuse went on to JUNIOR OF GROUP . In the Beardies, it was little Austen that garnered the DRCC and RBOB. In the Afternoon show. the format was changed for the group placings - not the normal way but Group 1,2,3 & 4 and Puppy of Group only. Zippo got the DCC and BOB while Denver got the DRCC and RBOB. Fuse got the BCC while Bella got the BRCC. In the Beardies it was Kovu who got the DRCC and RBOB. Zippo went on to a GROUP 3 placing.

April 11th & 12th - Auckland Kennel Coucil - We took Denver with us this weekend for the shows while his doting mother moved house. On the Saturday, DCC and BOB went to Zippo while BCC & RBOB went to Fuse. Zippo got RESERVE IN GROUP while Fuse went on to JUNIOR OF GROUP . On the Sanday DCC & BOB went to Denver while Fuse got the BRCC. IN the Beardies, Kovu got the DRCC at both shows while Austen was Baby Puppy of Breed both days.

April 4th & 5th - Cambridge - A glorious weekend of stunning weather and a great weekend of showing. In the Aussies Zippo got the DCC and BOB both days with Bella taking out the BCC and RBOB to him on the Sunday only. On the Saturday Zippo also went OPEN OF GROUP. In the Beardies, little Austen got the BOB with BABY PUPPY OF GROUP on the Saturday over his litter brother and sister. On the Sunday he lost out to Baby Puppy of Breed to his litter sister who went on to Baby Puppy of Group as well. A great weekend for the Beardies.

March 29th - Napier KC - Sunday dawned nice and crisp - a good omen for another nice day. Zippo once again got the DCC and BOB both shows, and this time it was Fuse that got the BCC & RBOB at both shows. Fuse went on to JUNIOR OF GROUP at both shows as well. Austen once again went really well and got BABY PUPPY OF GROUP at the afternooon show.

March 28th - Wairoa KA - Off we went to Hawkes Bay for a wonderful weekend with stunning weather and the company of Bronwyn who came up from University to show her new Beardie. In the Aussies, DCC & BOB went to Zippo for both shows, however at the morning show Fuse got the BCC & RBOB, while at the afternoon it was Bella who got the BCC & RBOB. Bronwyn had fun with Austen (who went like a little star) and garnered BABY PUPPY OF GROUP at both shows.

March 7th - Hamilton - We took along Zippo, Bella and Bitsy to the shows this weekend. On the Saturday Zippo got the DCC and BOB and went on to BEST OF GROUP & OPEN OF GROUP . Bitsy garnered the BCC and RBOB. Along for the ride was our new Hannah baby (Austen - web page to follow) that we are socialising and training for Bronwyn for the next few months.

February 28th - Hawkes Bay - Allan and Chelsea went down for the shows on the Saturday and came away with Dart's final 2 CC's along with BOB & RBOB and Bella got the BCC's and RBOB and BOB. Bella went on to JUNIOR IN SHOW . This now makes Dart a Champion.

Febraury 21st & 22nd - North Shore - Well Bronwyn has left for Palmerston North for University and we still have her dogs here to show. DCC and BOB in the Aussies both days was Zippo with Bella getting her third CC along with RBOB on the Saturday and then going on to JUNIOR IN GROUP , and then Fuse getting her required CC over the age of 1 year for her to become a Champion and crowning it with a JUNIOR IN GROUP as well. A Great weekend.

February 14th & 15th - Tokoroa - Another beautiful weekend. Kovu got DCC and BOB at both shows at Tokoroa Canine Assn however only got the DRCC and RBOB at the Waikato Working Dog. He did nothing in Group although was shortlisted for BOG at both shows. In the Aussies, Zippo got DCC and BOB at both Tokoroa Shows with Bitsy getting the BCC and RBOB and Fuse taking out the BRCC. At the Waikato Working Dog Show, Bitsy got the BCC and BOB with Fuse taking out the BRCC and RBOB. Zippo got the DCC again. Fuse went on to JUNIOR IN SHOW . It was Bitsy's final CC and she is now an NZ Champion.

February 6th, 7th & 8th - Levin - Horowhenua - Off we went for the long weekend to Levin. The temperatures were high amd it affected the dogs particularly Kovu however they all showed well anyway. On the Friday, in the Aussies, DCC went to Zippo with BCC and BOB to Bitsy and RBCC and RBOB to Nandi. Bitsy went on to OPEN OF GROUP . Kovu got the DCC and BOB in the Beardies. On the Saturday, it was Zippo who got the DCC with BOB while Bitsy once again took the BCC this time with RBOB and Nandi again the RBCC. Kovu once again got the DCC and BOB. On the Sunday, Zippo once again got the DCC & BOB however this time it was Bella who got the BCC & RBOB with Bitsy taking out the BRCC. Kovu got the DRCC and RBOB this time.

January 24th & 25th - Nelson District - We took 4 dogs with us and went across the Cook Strait to the South Island for shows this weekend, while helping out our good friend with her dogs after her surgery. DCC & BOB went to Zippo on the Saturday along with RESERVE OF GROUP . Timone got the DRCC and RBOB along with NZBRED OF GROUP . Fuse garnered with RBCC and also managed to get 10th in the Puppy Sweepstakes. On the Sunday, Zippo once again got the DCC but this time with RBOB while Fuse got the BCC & BOB at her last show as a puppy. Vegas went on to INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP .

January 24th & 25th - Northland - Bronwyn went North to the shows in Northland and got DRCC with Dart at both shows along with INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP . She also got BCC and RBOB with Bitsy (webpage still to be done)at both shows.

Janaury 17th and 18th - Kapi Mana - We travelled down to Wellington in really hot weather and had a great weekend. DCC and RBOB to Zippo on Saturday with Nandi getting the BCC and BOB. Fuse got the RBCC. In the Beardies, Kovu got the DCC and BOB and went on to BEST OF GROUP & OPEN OF GROUP . Nandi got INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP and Fuse got PUPPY OF GROUP . We awoke on Sunday to pouring rain but at least it was a little cooler. The dogs showed it too in much exhuberance in the ring. Zippo once again got the DCC, this time getting BOB while Nandi once again got the BCC and RBOB, however Bitsy (webpage still to be done) got the BRCC. Fuse went on to PUPPY OF GROUP again. In the Beardies, Kovu once again got DCC and BOB.

January 10th - Hamilton - A slow start but DCC and BOB with Zippo and DRCC with Walka. Nandi got BCC and RBOB with Fuse taking out the BRCC. Nandi went on to INTERMEDIATE OF GROUP .
