AM & NZ Champion Thornapple Hot Temptation

(Zippo)

After a long wait, Zippo arrived in New Zealand from the Thornapple Kennels in Michigan, USA. Having gone over and chosen him as a young pup of 7 months, we then had to fulfil the tough quarantine rules for entry to New Zealand. In the mean time, thanks to Ellen and Amy, Zippo acquired his American Championship with 3 majors. His final weekend of shows in America, he attained BOB and 4th in the Group. Well done Zippo and only 14 months of age!

Zippo is a Red Tricolour male, 22.5 inches and with good bone. He is DNA tested clear of the CEA gene, DNA tested clear of the cataract gene, DNA Clear of the Cone Degenration gene, does not carry the NBT gene and his hips and elbows were scored 0:0 and 0:0

To date, he has acquired at least 100 CC's along with a Gold Certificate of Merit and several Group and In Show awards the best of which was BEST IN SHOW All Breeds in May 2008. Zippo is the 2nd Aussie in New Zealand to win this award (the first being Magic).
